On Monday, January 13, 2025, the Tangier-Asilah Employment Council held its regular session, chaired by Mohamed Ahmedi and attended by Mohamed El Omrani, head of the Local Communities Division at the Regional Prefecture, as well as a number of the Council’s executives and staff.
The session included a discussion of the agenda, which featured a progress report on the activities carried out by the Council President between September 2024 and January 2025, as well as the review and approval of several partnership projects and development programs.
In this context, a partnership agreement was signed with the Regional Civil Protection Command to support logistical services.

The Labor Council has approved funding to support the operation of the Friendship Center for People with Special Needs in partnership with the Friendship Association for Children with Intellectual Disabilities.
The session also approved support for the organization of the “Ibn Battuta International Cup” tournament in partnership with the Regional Directorate of National Education and the Moroccan Association for the Development of Soccer.
The Board approved the articles of incorporation, the shareholders’ agreement, and the capital contribution to “Tangier-Al-Jihah Development Company.”
The Council also approved a cooperation agreement to oversee the procurement and distribution of rabies vaccines and serums.
The Council adopted a partnership agreement to preserve cultural and artistic heritage in collaboration with the World Cultures Foundation.
All items on the agenda were unanimously approved, with the exception of the item concerning waste collection equipment, which was decided to be postponed to a later date.
