Adel Barakat, President of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Regional Council, accompanied by the regional governor, inspected the construction site of the Regional Center for Moroccans Abroad and Migration Affairs.
This center, which is being established through a partnership between the Regional Council and the Ministry Delegate in charge of the Moroccan Community Abroad at a cost of approximately 57 million dirhams, will serve as a platform for research and reflection on migration issues, a one-stop shop for migrant affairs, and a space for recreation, integration, and cultural and sports activities.

This center serves as a platform for the reintegration of the children of returnees from countries affected by war and economic crises, as well as migrants from sub-Saharan countries residing in the region. The center will also serve as a mechanism for international cooperation and coordination with the Euro-Mediterranean Migration Center.
