Mr. Abdelrahim Al-Salhi was elected president of the Ahfir Municipal Council in the Berkane province during the elections held today, Thursday, September 23.

The Authenticity and Modernity Party, the Constitutional Union, the Independence Party, and the Popular Movement coordinated their efforts to form the local council during the election of the president and council members.

El-Salhi was nominated by the Authenticity and Modernity Party to head the council, with four seats going to the Independence Party, one to the Popular Movement Party, and one to the Authenticity and Modernity Party.
