عضو البرلمان العربي خديجة حجوبي تزور مكتبة البيروني في طشقند

في ختام مشاركة وفد البرلمان العربي برئاسة معالي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي في اجتماعات الجمعية الـ 150 للاتحاد البرلماني الدولي في العاصمة الأوزبكية طشقند، نظمت الدولة المستضيفة للاجتماعات زيارة مهمة للوفد العربي إلى مكتبة البيروني في طشقند، والتي تم تشييدها بدعم من جلالة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد -طيّب الله ثراه- سلطان سلطنة عمان، تقديرا منه لدور العلم والعلماء على الصعيد الحضاري والإنساني، وحفاظا على تراث إنساني وإسلامي عريق تضمه هذه المكتبة العريقة.

واستمع وفد البرلمان العربي من مدير المكتبة إلى شروحات وافية لما تضمه من كتب التراث النادرة، والتي يصل عمر الكثير منها إلى ألف عام، كما تضم مختبرات للأبحاث، وغرفا لحفظ المخطوطات، ومعامل لترميمها وحمايتها من التلف ومكاتب للتوثيق، وأجهزة للتحول إلى النظام الرقمي.

كما شاهد وفد البرلمان العربي فيلما توثيقيا عن تاريخ ونشأة المكتبة وما تقدمه من خدمات ثقافية ودينية مهمة تعكس التاريخ المشرف للحضارة الإسلامية العريقة.
