On Thursday, March 26, 2020, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Region, chaired by Khalid Mansouri, decided to contribute 4 million dirhams to the special fund established to address the coronavirus pandemic, given Morocco’s need to secure the necessary funding for preventive measures to combat this pandemic.
The contribution by the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services stems from its commitment to actively supporting all measures and decisions taken by the Moroccan government under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, particularly His Majesty’s decision to establish a special fund to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
For his part, Mansouri described the Chamber’s contribution as a reaffirmation of the long-standing and deeply rooted principles and values of solidarity and mutual support in Moroccan society during times of crisis, as well as a response to the nationwide mobilization aimed at preventing the escalation and spread of this pandemic and mitigating its social, economic, financial, and psychological impacts on all citizens.
