The Authenticity and Modernity Group in the House of Councillors held its weekly meeting today, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, chaired by Mr. Karim Al-Hams. The group devoted a significant portion of its session to discussing the latest national developments, particularly the recent Security Council resolution on the Moroccan Sahara, which the group’s members considered a new victory for Morocco’s prudent diplomacy under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
The members of the delegation praised the ongoing diplomatic gains, emphasizing that this decision once again demonstrates the strength of Morocco’s position and the justice of its national cause, and reinforces the Kingdom’s prominent standing within the international community thanks to the King’s visionary leadership.

In the same vein, the team praised the content of the recent royal address, describing it as a “historic speech” due to its strong messages in defense of territorial integrity, its call to continue the development process in the southern provinces, and its affirmation of advanced regionalization as a strategic choice for managing local affairs.
The meeting also addressed the ongoing preparations for the discussion of the 2026 Finance Bill, with the group affirming its full commitment to contributing effectively to this important legislative process through pragmatic approaches and constructive proposals aimed at promoting social justice and achieving major economic balances, in line with the royal directives.
