تمكن؛ المنتخب الوطني المغربي لأقل من 23 عاما من الظفر بلقب كأس إفريقيا للأمم؛ لأول مرة في تاريخه، بعد فوزه على نظيره المصري في مباراة النهائي.

المنتخب المغربي دك شباك الخصم بهدفين مقابل هدف واحد، في المباراة التي أقيمت بملعب الأمير مولاي عبد الله بالرباط مساء السبت 08 يوليوز الجاري.

في المقابل، المنتخب المصري كان سباقا إلى التسجيل عن طريق لاعبه محمد صابر في الدقيقة الـ 8.

وفي الدقيقة 33، استدرك المنتخب المغربي الموقف مسجلا هدف التعادل عن طريق لاعبه يانيس بكراوي، من ضربة رأسية بعد تمريرة حاسمة من زميله بلال الخنوس.

الشوط الثاني انتهى بالتعادل 1/1، ليتم التوجه نحو الأشواط الإضافية التي حسمها أشبال عصام الشرعي لصالحهم، بعدما سجل أسامة تارغالين هدف الفوز في الدقيقة 104.
