لضمان وصوله بشكل عادل إلى كل الدول…اليونيسف تطلق “لوحة متابعة” لسوق لقاحات كوفيد-19

كشفت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسف)، يوم الإثنين 21 دجنبر 2020، أنه تم إطلاق لوحة متابعة لسوق لقاحات كوفيد-19، وهي أداة تفاعلية لمتابعة التطورات السريعة لسوق لقاحات كوفيد-19 والجهود، التي تبذلها آلية “كوفاكس” لضمان الوصول العادل والمنصف للقاحات إلى كل بلد في العالم.

وأشارت اليونيسيف إلى أن لوحة المتابعة توفر نظرة عامة محدثة بانتظام عن خط البحث والتطوير العالمي، والقدرة الإنتاجية المتوقعة، واتفاقيات التوريد الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف المعلن عنها، فضلا عن نقاط الأسعار المبلغ عنها، مبرزة أنه خلال عام 2021، ستوفر لوحة المتابعة تحديثا عن حالة مشتريات اليونيسف وغيرها من المشترين المشاركين في آلية “كوفاكس”، وستتابع أيضا حالة عمليات التسليم من قبل اليونيسف والمشترين الوطنيين المؤسسيين المشاركين الآخرين.

وتعد آلية “كوفاكس” ركيزة أساسية متعلقة باللقاحات ضمن مبادرة تسريع الوصول إلى أدوات كوفيد-19، وهي تعاون عالمي لتسريع التطوير والإنتاج والوصول العادل إلى التشخيصات والعلاجات واللقاحات الجديدة لكوفيد-19.
