نيويورك .. التويزي وشميس يشاركان رفقة وفد برلماني في جلسة الاستماع البرلمانية السنوية للعام 2025

يشارك السيد أحمد التويزي رئيس فريق الأصالة والمعاصرة بمجلس النواب، والمستشار البرلماني حسن شميس، رفقة وفد برلماني رفيع المستوى في جلسة الاستماع البرلمانية السنوية للعام 2025، حول موضوع: “توسيع نطاق العمل من أجل تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة: التمويل، والمؤسسات، والسياسة”، التي ينظمها الاتحاد البرلماني الدولي بشراكة مع الأمم المتحدة يومي 13 و14 فبراير 2025 بمقر الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك- الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

وستتاح للمشاركين على مدار يومين وبمشاركة خبراء ومسؤولين عن الأمم المتحدة والممثلين الدبلوماسيين وكبار الباحثين والأكاديميين المتخصصين في مجال التنمية المستدامة، الفرصة للمشاركين في هذه الجلسة البرلمانية الدولية لمناقشة وتبادل الآراء والممارسات حول سُبل تفعيل برنامج التنمية المستدامة لعام 2030 وأهدافه، والتي تُمثلُ خارطة طريق عالمية لمكافحة الفقر وتضييق الفجوة بين الأغنياء والفقراء.

وسيتم التركيز بشكل خاص على آليات تحفيز الإرادة السياسية من أجل التوصل إلى توافق في الآراء حول التوصيات السياسية الرئيسية، وتعزيز قدرات المؤسسات على حشد كافة الأطراف المعنية وعلى رأسها البرلمانات.

كما ستُتيح هذه الجلسة الفرصة للبرلمانيين للتفكير في كيفية سد النقص في التمويل اللازم لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة، وذلك تحضيراً للمؤتمر الرابع للأمم المتحدة المعني بتمويل التنمية، الذي سيُعقد في إسبانيا في يونيو 2025..

ويشار إلى أن جلسة الاستماع البرلمانية السنوية في الأمم المتحدة تُنظَّم بتعاون وثيق مع مختلف هيئاتها، وتكمن أهميتها في إسهامها الفاعل في إعداد أوراق العمل حول القضايا المطروحة، وإبراز البعد البرلماني لهذه القضايا، وذلك بهدف تمكين البرلمانيين من فهم آليات صنع القرار في الأمم المتحدة على نحو أفضل، وتقديم تحليلاتهم الخاصة للدول الأعضاء، استنادا إلى خبراتهم الوطنية والمحلية.
