وزير العدل يستقبل مدير المعهد الإفريقي للوقاية من الجريمة ومعاملة الجناة

استقبل، وزير العدل السيد عبد اللطيف وهبي، يوم الاثنين 4 شتنبر 2023، بمقر الوزارة بالرباط، السيد كيتيو إدوارد مدير المعهد الإفريقي للوقاية من الجريمة ومعاملة الجناة؛ رفقة أعضاء خبراء بالمعهد.

اللقاء جاء على هامش الزيارة الرسمية لوفد المعهد لبلادنا للقيام بمهمة استشارية وتبادل الخبرات والتجارب مع المرصد الوطني للإجرام التابع لوزارة العدل.

إلى ذلك، أبرز وزير العدل أمام وفد المعهد مختلف الإصلاحات التي تقوم بها بلادنا في مجال العدالة عموما، وفي مجال السياسة الجنائية خصوصا، وكذلك مختلف الأدوار الهامة التي تقوم بها الوزارة على مستوى الشؤون الجنائية، وطبعا الرهانات والتحديات الموضوعة على مؤسسة المرصد الوطني للإجرام لاسيما على مستوى تعزيز قدرات موارده البشرية وخبراته المهنية، من خلال تعزيز التكوين والانفتاح على التجارب الدولية ومنها تجربة المعهد الإفريقي للوقاية من الجريمة.

من جانبهم مسؤولو المعهد الإفريقي عبروا عن تقديرهم الكبير للإصلاحات والخطوات الهامة التي قطعها المغرب في مجال محاربة الجريمة والوقاية منها، وكذلك عن استعدادهم الدائم لتعميق التعاون بين مصالح وزارة العدل والمعهد الإفريقي بما يخدم الوقاية من الجريمة والحد منها.
