The Secretary-General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, Mr. Abdellatif Wahbi, said that the reception His Majesty King Mohammed VI extended to him on Wednesday reflects His Majesty’s deep concern for the future of democracy and political institutions in Morocco.
In a statement to the press on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s reception of him at the Royal Palace in Casablanca—at his request, following his recent election as Secretary-General of the Authenticity and Modernity Party—Mr. Wahbi emphasized that this reception “motivates us to work in the future,” noting that His Majesty “offered his gracious guidance regarding Morocco’s political future and the need for the party to play its role, just like all other parties with all their components.”
The new secretary-general of the Authenticity and Modernity Party added that the royal directives also emphasized “paying attention to the interests of the Moroccan people and party activists, as well as preparing for upcoming elections.”
