PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, held a meeting, on Sunday, with the party’s female candidates for the House of Representatives’ regional lists.
“The Moroccan Parliament is a prestigious institution that requires both commitment and dedication”, Ouahbi stressed, noting that PAM’s candidates for the aforementioned institution have been selected based on their competencies, intellectuality, and political ethics.
“Attending council meetings is mandatory, for PAM is committed to providing all possible means to ensure that all party representatives assume their responsibilities in full from within”, he added.
“Our main objective is to prepare youth and women to play leading roles within the party”, Ouahbi declared, claiming that PAM has managed to maintain healthy relations with the rest of the parties in the last few years.
During the meeting, Ouahbi shared his political experience with the party’s regional list deputies, by engaging in a series of discussions relating to government oversight, legislation and parallel diplomacy, while highlighting the importance of attending all council meetings and acting responsibly.
Ouahbi also pledged the party’s commitment to hold training sessions and conduct field tours upon the elections, for PAM’s representatives to become more acquainted with people’s problems, thus addressing their issues accordingly.
For their part, PAM’s regional list deputies expressed their full commitment to the regulations in force, and vowed to represent all citizens upon assuming their duties inside Morocco’s legislative institutions.
