The PAM Politburo held a meeting, in attendance, under the presidency of its Secretary General Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, last Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Rabat, dedicated to deliberate national political new developments and also the party’s organizational issues.
At the beginning of this meeting, the PAM Politburo has talked about the great attention paid by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to citizens, both women and men, from rural communities, praising royal wise decisions to alleviate the impacts of rains delay on agriculture activities, and therefore presenting assistance to concerned farmers and cattle breeders.
In this context, and after praising the Moroccan government’s emergency program to confront challenges in rural areas, the Politburo has, at the same time, called on the government to take all necessary emergency measures to guarantee a safe implementation of that ambitious program, and also guarantee that the greatest number of farmers from different regions of the Kingdom should make benefit of it.
The Politburo has also talked about the special attention paid by His Majesty to investment issues in our country, and also to the working session content presided last week in Bouznika regarding the new competitive charter or investments; the Politburo has expressed its full satisfaction towards the action being achieved by the government at this level, it has also called on the government to take into consideration royal précised strategic orientations, particularly those which confirm that their implementation at the practical level is more important, in order to pump new dynamism in private investment and consolidate the Kingdom of Morocco as an outstanding platform for investment at the regional and international levels.
The Politburo has discussed the content of the meeting held by the government majority presidency last Tuesday in Rabat, with the presence of secretaries general and presidents of the majority teams and all the outcome and resolutions which have presented a unified picture of the upcoming phase and which offer another breath to the majority action, with all its government and parliamentarian components to reflect full harmony and great responsibility which control the government majority performance.
Concerning social issues, the Politburo has discussed direct impact of prices increase in international markets of basic food products on national markets, recalling with big positive reaction the government intervention in that sector by subsiding a number of basic food products in waiting for a collective thinking about bringing in more appropriate mechanisms to the government intervention to alleviate the severity of prices increase on citizens’ purchasing power.
Regarding the party’s affairs, and after listening to new reports from chairmen and members of the party’s six poles which have been previously elected by the Politburo (media and communication pole, administration and digitalization pole, pole to follow up parliament and elected bodies, pole of external relationships, and pole of budget/finance management), which express the party’s dynamism, the Politburo has praised the content of those reports which reflect a collective desire of all the Politburo members to reconstruct the party organization and renew the remaining of its bodies and its different institutions, with a democratic scope and according to participative approach with all the party’s members; and in this context, the Politburo has adopted an organizational memo which calls for holding provincial and regional conventions during the next few weeks.
In the same context, the Politburo was informed about the big dynamism witnessed by regional meetings which were organized by preparatory committees to reconstruct a strong PAM women organization, and also about the big success achieved by two regional meetings in both Casablanca and Fes about that point and the dynamism being witnessed at various regions of the Kingdom in preparation for regional meetings about the strong return of the PAM women in this political dynamism.
