Minister Ouahbi: Bringing justice closer to litigants is one of the utmost priorities in the reform process of the judiciary system
Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has stated that the Ministry has put among its utmost priorities to bring justice closer to litigants in the reform process of the judiciary apparatus, bringing the judiciary to be at the service of citizens.
Minister Ouahbi said in response to a written question about some gaps regarding the construction works of a justice court in Ghafsai, in the province of Taounate, that concerning the judiciary center in Ghafsai, the Ministry has set up a program project to reconstruct the premises on the same ground spot that used to host the older center; and to ensure the continuation of judiciary and administrative services for the behalf of litigants, a temporary center was afforded at an administrative building downtown of Ghafsai.
In this context, the Ministry, continued the Minister, has carried out studies about the project and has announced a construction bid in the best time schedule; however, after the launching of works, there appeared a problem of groundwater during drilling process; the fact which has obliged the Ministry to break the contract and redo the studies again, confirming that the contract is under signature and constructions will be initiated after final adoption.
