Minister of Justice Mr. Ouahbi met with his Qatari counterpart and agreed on establishing a common technical commission for the preparation of agreements
Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi pursues his visit to the Gulf countries, Egypt and Jordan and arrived last Tuesday, September 27, 2022 to the brotherly State of Qatar where he has held a friendly meeting with the Qatari Minister of Justice, Mr. Massoud Bin Mohamed Al Ameri, at his department office in Doha.
During the meeting, both sides have praised the strength and long standing political relationships linking the two brotherly countries which draw their strength from the depth of brotherly relations between the leaders of both countries, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.
On the same occasion, Minister Ouahbi has made a presentation about Moroccan experience in the justice field, presenting several reforms undertaken in the judiciary sector, at the level of legislation, infrastructure and digitalization of Moroccan courts, in addition to staff training; and expressing the Moroccan Kingdom readiness to open to Qatari experience in terms of justice and benefit from the components of its success especially concerning digital process.
In the same context, Qatari Minister of Justice has talked about reforms being undertaken by the State of Qatar in the judiciary sector, praising at the same time the depth of relationships between both countries and expressing his big gratitude to the Moroccan Kingdom, its king and its people.
The Qatari Minister of Justice has reaffirmed that the Moroccan Kingdom experience in the field of justice is worth of interest, stressing on the necessity for both sides to make benefits regarding exchange of expertise and training.
Both sides have then agreed on establishing a common technical commission to prepare agreements projects to be signed very soon to promote Moroccan Qatari relationships to more outstanding levels.
