In the presence of Minister in charge of the budget.. PAM MPs break down the contents of 2023 budget bill
PAM MPs have interacted with the presentation made by Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of the budget, Mr. Faouzi Leqjaa, during a consultation meeting held last Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the party headquarters in Rabat.
PAM MPs interventions have focused on the necessity to integrate and contribute to the refining of the budget bill so that it will rise to the level of Moroccan citizens’ aspirations and therefore contribute to national economy recovery and pursue economic and social reforms initiated by the Kingdom.
MPs have raised a number of questions and made several proposals to the Minister, which have focused mainly on the necessity to seek the best investment of our financial means to bring our country to face different challenges, and to keep up with the new national charter for investment bill to respond to requirements of decent living for all citizens.
PAM MPs have stressed, in their interventions, the importance of implementing the foundations of the social state through restructuration of the health sector, compulsory insurance on sickness, family compensation and giving importance to energy and food security, implementing social dialogue takeaways, fighting speculation, implementing direct subvention to housing, reducing territorial disparity and using budget margins to ensure sustainable major reforms.
