Minister Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid refutes “conflict of interests” allegations

Minister of Culture, Youth and Communication, Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, has reiterated the invalidity of what was raised in some media outlets and social networks about “conflict of interests” allegations.

Minister Bensaid stated in his interview with “Madar 21” website that since his appointment in October 2021, and in compliance with the law, he has made the compulsory declaration about properties at the supreme council of audits (comptroller office) like the rest of other government cabinet members, pointing out that his official CV which was previously published has included his academic and professional background.

Minister Bensaid added that his private investments were announced on due time and did not receive any public subsidy, denying also having any farming land properties subsided by the state.

Minister Bensaid has refuted, in the same interview which will be broadcast lately, some allegations and claims that were raised about various subjects, in relation with some public affairs matters especially in sectors under his competencies.
