PAM Parliamentarian team submitted a project bill to change some provisions of the public administration basic system

PAM Parliamentarian team at the House of Representatives has submitted a new project bill to change some of the provisions in the public administration basic system.

The project bill intends to reinforce public employees’ protection from risks and sicknesses during their mission, by amending provisions about mid-term and long-term sick leave permission.
PAM Parliamentarian team has requested to help employees who benefit from those two permissions to keep their salaries appropriate to their legal status along the period of sick leave.

Current bill defines the mid-term sick leave permission in three years, during which the employee gets his salary over the first two years including his pension and half the salary during the third year; while the long-term sick leave permission is defined in five years during which the employee gets his salary including his pension during the first three years and half of that salary during the last fourth and fifth years.
