Minister of Energy Transition presents before the government council meeting a project bill to define standards of air quality

The government council meeting adopted last Thursday, February 22, 2024, a project bill about defining standards of air quality and means to establish a monitoring network system; the bill was presented Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Leila Benali.

The project bill aims at improving air quality standards in implementation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection proposals and the WHO instructions.

Government authority in charge of environment will be responsible for preparing and every two years periodical reports and bulletins about the quality of air in different areas of the Kingdom.
