Fatima Zahra Mansouri to “Assabah” newspaper: PAM National Council has made a decision to take part in the government and won’t change it
Coordinator of the PAM SG collegial leadership, Mrs. Fatima Zahra Mansouri has stated that the PAM National Council has made a decision to take part in the government and won’t change it, considering that there’s no political crisis inside the government cabinet so that PAM will quit; yet on the contrary, there’s harmony among the government majority components.
Mrs. Mansouri stated in an interview with “Assabah” newspaper, issue of Monday February 26, 2024, that the established correlation with the government majority concerns also the coalition among the three parties components at the level of communes and areas; and that any change in this regard will impact all elected institutions, and therefore the idea of quitting the government will be raised at the agenda of the national council meeting next April. Mrs. Mansouri has stressed that the party enjoys an independency in its decision-making and confirmed non-interference by any external side in managing its internal matters.
Mrs. Mansouri said: “the choice of the collegial leadership formula has come in compatibility with the slogans raised by the party since the beginning of its political experience, which is different at all levels; founders of the party made a call for the future since 2020, and after reaching a maturity phase, we have become capable of coming up with a new leadership formula to cut off with the classical approach of party management. The world is changing and so are the parties, and for that reason we have refused the vision of the eternal “political leader” in his position; we considered that collective action to serve militants will be the best option”.
The PAM collegial leadership coordinator added that “The collegial leadership is an initiative that relies on consultations measures with party members and I am not the kind of person to impose unilateral and individual opinion on others, but we discuss measures with militants and after a consensus, we present the idea to members of the Politburo for discussion and then we present it also to the party’s regional secretaries.”
