Geneva.. Minister of Justice held bilateral meeting with his Gabonese counterpart to strengthen cooperation between both countries in the justice field
On the margin of the 55th session of the UNHRC in Geneva, which ended its works last Monday, February 26, 2024, Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has held a bilateral meeting with his Gabonese counterpart Mr. Paul-Marie Gondjout
Both ministers have discussed the necessity to review cooperation between both countries in the justice field and future scopes, through reinforcing exchange of expertise and experiences in relation with justice system, its good governance, judiciary administration improvement and developing cooperation mechanisms between both countries.
Minister Ouahbi has talked during the meeting about strong brotherly relationships linking the two countries and has announced the intention to reinforce more cooperation framework in various justice filed including penal and civil judiciary.
The Gabonese Justice Minister from his side has praised the strong relationships between Morocco and Gabon and has expressed his gratitude towards the interest paid by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to brotherly Gabon, reaffirming the importance of transferring the Moroccan experience in justice to Gabon to serve both countries’ common interests.
