Protest – Ouahbi condemns the Israeli violence and attacks against Palestinians

Morocco’s PAM chief, Abdellatif Ouahbi, condemned, on Monday, the attacks led by the state of Israel against the Palestinians, for three days straight, using all kinds of brutality, abuse and intimidation, vis-à-vis the city of Al Quds and other Islamic monuments.

Ouahbi also denounced the serious damages these attacks have led to among the inhabitants of Al Quds, condemning at the same time “the terrorist acts carried out by the state of Israel against children, the elderly and women, throughout the holy month of Ramadan, as well as the latter’s blatant violation of Al Aqsa Mosque’s sanctity.”

Moreover, Ouahbi denounced “the savage, deliberate and systematic attacks against the defenseless Palestinian people, and all forms of persecution, murder and deprivation, exercised by Israeli forces against the Palestinian people”.

The PAM Secretary General further expressed his party’s rejection of “Israel’s provocations and repeated desecrations of the Islamic holy sites”, aimed at desecrating Al Aqsa Mosque.

Ouahbi also denounced “Israel’s persistence in imposing the concept of colonization as a rightful act, while rejecting the latter’s policies aimed at looting and confiscating Palestinian-based properties, in defiance of all international laws, stipulating Palestinians’ legitimate right to own land and property”.

Ouhabi reiterated his appeal to the international community to assume “its full responsibility vis-à-vis Israel’s arrogant policies”, and to ensure the physical protection of the Palestinian people, to preserve their absolute right to both worship and religious practices, as well as to guarantee their civil rights.

In addition, the Secretary General called on “all governmental and non-governmental human rights organizations to act fast in light of these attacks, by urging the international community to put an end to Israel’s arrogant policies, and ensure full protection for the defenseless Palestinian people”.
