Ouahbi on his visit to Oulad Berhil: PAM is in desperate need of all its militants to reach higher ranks
PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, held a communicative meeting, on Monday (June 14, 2021), with his fellow militants in Oulad Berhil commune, within Taroudant province.
During the meeting, Ouahbi stated that the party has undergone a series of structural changes since its fourth assembly in El Jadida, noting that PAM will only be able to achieve positive results if all militants provide the best in them, support-wise.
Ouahbi also praised the role played by women inside the party, besides other institutional formations, claiming that PAM has always stood in support of female militants by allocating 30 extra seats to women on its official candidacy lists.
Within the same context, PAM’s chief called on his fellow young and female militants in Oulad Berhil to engage in political action, for the latter stands as their one and only way to act from within their communes, thus meeting people’s expectations in rural areas.
Meanwhile, Ouahbi denounced the government’s neglective approach with regard to Taroudant province, pointing that all 80 communes within the region have been enduring a series of challenges at the health, educational and cultural levels.
“It is time to have Oulad Berhil institutions function under two separate prefectures in order to ameliorate administrative procedures”, he added.
In his closing statement, Ouahbi emphasized the important role played by his party MPs in terms of legislation and governmental monitoring, stressing that the latters are to carry out government-related missions instead of engaging in communal matters.
