Solidarity – Mr. Ouahbi urges Laftit and Bourita to work on repatriating two Moroccan children trapped in Turkey
PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, expressed his compassion with the case of two Moroccan children trapped in Turkey, urging both Morocco’s Minister of Interior (Abdelouafi Laftit) and Minister of Foreign affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates (Nasser Bourita) to work on repatriating the latters to Morocco as soon as possible.
This case has first originated when a Moroccan national travelled all the way to Turkey to bring both his grandchildren back upon their father’s arrest for his alleged involvement with “ISIS”, however, the grandfather was unable to return back home along with his grandchildren despite holding all legal documents due to the Moroccan consulate’s lack of responsibility in this regard.
“The two siblings, Ahmed and Fatema Ben Hamdane, shall be brought home as soon as possible, along with their grandfather, Mustapha”, Ouahbi stated in his correspondence.
It is noteworthy that Abdellatif Ouahbi addressed such a correspondence to Ministers, Laftit and Bourita, in his capacity of SG, MP, and Head of the investigation committee in charge of Moroccans trapped in Syria and Iraq.
