The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) will soon conclude a twinning agreement with the Democratic Union for a New Benin (UDBN).
In a letter addressed to PAM’s secretary general, Abdellatif Ouahbi, UDBN President, Claudine Afiavi Prudencio, said she is “confident” that this twinning agreement constitutes “a springboard for protocol exchange, as well as a framework for exchanging expertise and skills”, in order to promote development in both countries.
“The prospect of a Union that is solely dedicated to Africa requires political elites like ourselves to place the people of Africa within a dynamic that promotes South-South collaboration, for it is as promising and revaluing as the one that binds us to the west”, Prudencio added.
Within the same context, Ms. Prudencio expressed her high hopes for this twinning agreement to be “beneficial” for both parties, through the establishment of “a reciprocal support program meant to assist their joint efforts”, mainly in terms of electoral campaigns, assemblies, national councils and other major institutions.
Prudencio also said she is “certain” that both parties “will make a eulogistic overall course that is beneficial for their political communities, as well as their militants”.
