Abdenbi Baabou elected local SG upon PAM’s local secretariat formation within Ain Cheggag commune (Sefrou)

In light of PAM’s political and organizational dynamism within Fez-Meknes region in general, and Sefrou in particular, the party’s provincial secretariat in Sefrou held, in collaboration with Fez-Meknes regional SG, the secretariat’s general assembly in Ain Cheggag commune, on March 21, 2021.

The secretariat’s general assembly was chaired by Sefrou’s regional secretary general, Driss Amimi.

Upon welcoming the attendees at the start of his remotely delivered speech, the region’s Secretary General shed light on the most recent political developments, as well as the organizational procedures that the regional secretariat has undertaken since its fourth national assembly; emphasizing at the same time PAM SG’s directives in this regard.

Throughout his presentation, the regional SG recalled PAM’s Politburo positions with regard to the various political, economic and social issues, as well as the initiatives undertaken by the party’s Political Bureau and two Parliamentary teams, especially in terms of the laws framing the upcoming elections.

Within the same context, the regional SG called on PAM militants in Sefrou region in general, and Ain Chegagg commune in particular, to engage in the party’s organizational dynamism, renew their membership for the year 2021, open up to competencies (youth and women), and prepare for the upcoming elections.

The regional secretary general has also praised the work conducted by the preparatory committee under the supervision of the provincial secretariat, and urged the local secretariat to rise to the occasion when assuming its partisan responsibilities in Ain Cheggag commune.

For his part, the provincial SG, Driss Amimi, shed light on the organizational context and the political dynamic that the party undergoes at the regional and national levels, stressing the need to adapt a proximity approach in the prospect of preparing for the upcoming elections; adding that the party is determined to achieve very positive results during the upcoming legislative and local elections.

Moreover, Amimi called on the attendees to adopt a policy based on change and openness to both youth and women, for the latters to engage in running the party’s local affairs, and contribute to Ain Cheggag’s communal development.

At the end of the meeting, PAM’s regional secretariat elected Mr. Abdenbi Baabou as the new local secretary general within Ain Cheggag commune, and approved the secretariat’s membership list.
