Morocco: Mohammed VI Foundation issued over 800 thousand “Holy Quran” copies in 2020

Mohammed VI Foundation for the Publishing of the Holy Quran announced that its proceeds related to the printing of the Holy Quran in all its forms and sizes amounted to 828 thousand copies during the year 2020, including translated versions, and copies for the visually impaired.

According to the Foundation’s report, the latter has managed to print 600 thousand copies for mosques (volume: 17/24), 100,000 copies for the visually impaired (volume: 25 / 35), and 55 thousand copies of Quranic interpretations in French (volume: 16 / 23.8).

Moreover, Mohammed VI Foundation printed another 50 thousand copies for Quran-memorizing (volume: 20/27), 20,000 copies of Quranic interpretations in English (volume: 16 / 23.8), 200 “Braille” versions, and 1,000 copies of Ya-Sin (Surah).

“Mohammed VI Foundation for the Publishing of the Holy Quran managed to remain productive, despite the Coronavirus repercussions and their unprecedented impact on public administrations’ working pace, as well as the quality of public services provided by these administrations”, the report stressed.

It is noteworthy that Mohammed VI Foundation for the Publishing of the Holy Quran is a non-profit institution that was established under the auspices of King Mohammed VI. The Foundation enjoys moral and financial independence, as it has been placed under the tutelage of the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
