Ceuta – Vox party leader met with protests upon his visit to the city

The leader of the Spanish right party “Vox”, Santiago Abascal, was met with a large wave of protests by the people of the occupied Ceuta.

Abascal’s visit to Ceuta was not welcomed by the inhabitants of the occupied city – to say the least – for the latters expressed their refusal of such a step in light of Abascal’s alleged “racial tendencies”.

The protesters raised slogans denouncing the positions adopted by “Vox” party, for they were deemed hostile to Muslims in general and Moroccans in particular, especially those living in Spain and the occupied Ceuta.

Abascal’s visit to Ceuta “added insult to injury” in light of the rising tensions between the Kingdom of Morocco and Spain.

It is noteworthy that “Vox” party is known for its hostility towards Moroccans in particular and immigrants in general; a behavior that is constantly evidenced by the statements and media outputs of its leaders, as well as the positions expressed through the representatives of this party within Spain’s elected councils and municipalities.
