Profile – Younes Sekkouri.. Undisputable high qualification in the field of economics and Employment

King Mohammed VI presided last Thursday October 7, 2021 at the Royal Palace in Fez, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Prince Moulay Rashid, over the ceremony of appointing Aziz Akhnoush new cabinet.

​The newly-appointed government included a number of new faces, among them qualified young Ministers such as Mr. Younes Sekkouri, from the PAM, as Minister of Economic Integration Small Enterprises, Labor and Competencies.

​Mr. Younes Sekkouri, former leader in the PAM youth organization and former coordinator of the same party in the Rabat area, has been one of the outstanding candidates for holding a ministerial portfolio. He has previously worked as a staff member of the Former Prime Minister Idriss Jettou and counselor to the former Minister of Interior then ChakibBenmousa in charge of decentralization and developing outreach services on behalf of citizens.

Mr. Younes Sekkouri graduated from business administration, as an engineer in communication, holder of Master’s degree in executive business management from the Paris National School of Road infrastructure (Ponts et chaussés), and from Fox management College in Philadelphia, in the U.S.

Mr. Sekkouri presents himself as an expert and counselor in strategies and planning and also as a professor at the National High School of Bridges and business management where he presents courses on partnership strategies and business management.

Mr. Sekkouri has worked also as Assistant Professor at the National High School of Roads and Bridges; where he has taught the course “Businesses and Renovation”; he was elected for a full mandate as deputy and member at the Finance Commission at the Moroccan Parliament 2011 – 2016 and has worked in coordination with many Ministries as responsible for sectorial policies, especially in the sector of labor, industry, decentralization and modernization of public services.

Mr. Sekkouri is working right now as Director of the National High School for Bridges, African branch and General Executive of the same school in Morocco. His large professional experience as a counselor has included in particular creativity, renovation and business leadership and most of his researches focus mainly on “market turmoil”, “strategy decision and “reform policies”.
