Morocco to Take Part in 41st UNESCO General Conference in Paris

Morocco will take part in the 41st General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), to be held on November 9-24 in Paris.

Morocco, which chairs the group of Arab countries participates in this event, coinciding with the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the creation of UNESCO, with an important delegation led by Minister of National Education, Preschool Learning and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa.

“At a time when UNESCO commemorates its 75th anniversary, Morocco reaffirms its commitment to multilateralism. The Kingdom is a committed actor for peace and is convinced that its preservation depends on the improvement of education, science and culture,” said the Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco to UNESCO on its Twitter account.

Several important decisions are expected to take place during this General Conference from the 193 Member States of the Organization, on contemporary issues related to the preservation of heritage, environment and education, according to UNESCO.
