Minister of Justice Abdellatif Ouahbi received the General Prosecutor and Ambassador of Italy Republic

Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice, received last Monday November 15, 2021 at his department, the General Prosecutor of Italy, Giovanni Salvi and the Ambassador of Italy in Morocco.

Both sides discussed during that meeting the outcome of cooperation scopes between the two countries, and also various current issues and dossiers between the Kingdom of Morocco and Italy Republic in the field of judiciary cooperation.

The two sides have come to the conclusion of the necessity to strengthen and pursue cooperation in the justice realm.

The meeting was also an occasion for the Moroccan Minister of Justice to inform the Italian General Prosecutor of the outlines of the legislative planning, which the Ministry is envisaging to present at the Parliament, especially what concerns the amendment of the penal code and procedure.
