During a press conference, Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi stated that digitalization of the justice courts will certainly contribute “to save time to the interest of litigants” as it will make easier other judiciary bodies to carry out their mission at the justice and “fight corruption” .
The Minister has, at the same time, called for the implementation of these online services gradually in all the country’s courts.
This “online platform” is considered as a new opportunity which will facilitate and follow up procedures inside the courts corridors, since the beginning of this model experience at the commercial court in Casablanca, it has become therefore possible for each lawyer to have his/her account at that online platform called “The lawyer’s platform”, and it includes safe data and reports that could be managed by a secret password and through which he/she could follow up issues he is defending.
It’s worth mentioning that this “platform” also allows lawyers to exchange data with the court, starting from the registration of the opening statement through the online payment of judiciary fees, registration of appeal requests, and even register requests of dossiers by interim, and follow up the deadlines and exchange services of memos with lawyers and summons preview.
