Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi: Integration of Berber/Tamazigh in the Justice sector will contribute to enhance the quality of public services for escorts (Video)
Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has confirmed that integrating Berber/Tamazigh language in the justice field will contribute to enhance the quality of public services for escorts, outlining that this measure will facilitate communication process with Berber-speaking escorts.
Minister Ouahbi clarified, during the oral session held last Tuesday February 1, 2022 at the House of Councilors, that to improve the quality of public services offered to escorts at all justice courts of the Kingdom, exams will be organized to hire 100 social assistants, women and men, over this year; they will be trained in Berber language and culture.
Minister Ouahbi has made clear that the exam will be open to graduate students from psychology and sociology departments and from institutes for training social assistants, and also for holders of Master’s degree in Berber culture, clarifying that this step serves the interests of escorts and guarantees the conditions for a fair trial to the majority of Moroccans.
Minister of Justice Mr. Ouahbi has revealed that basic and on-going training sessions will be organized in Berber for staffers of the Ministry and courts, especially at reception offices and complaints, at cells for caring for women and children victims of violence, at commercial registration, reporting and collection bureaus, in addition to other judicial professionals at the level of basic and on-going training.
