Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi received last Thursday, March 24, 2022 the Iraqi Minister of Justice Mr. Salar Abdussatar Mohamed. The meeting has presented an opportunity for both sides to discuss the outcome and scopes for common cooperation in the judiciary field between both countries.

In this context, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has expressed his desire to pursue the reinforcement of cooperation mechanisms between both countries in the justice sector, expressing his readiness to pay a visit to the state of Iraq as soon as possible.

From his side, The Iraqi Minister of Justice has confirmed the importance of the role played by the Moroccan Kingdom at the Arab level, praising the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve security, peace and stability and to fight terrorism and organized crime.

In conclusion, both sides have agreed on accelerating communication between the two countries’ experts and deploy political efforts to bridge visions in order to accomplish final drafts of judiciary bills ahead of being signed in the nearest future.
