Statement of Minister of Justice following the signing of an « agreement minutes » between the government and trade unions and the rest of partners
I highly appreciate the contents of the “agreement minutes” signed today, Saturday, under the auspices of Government President Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, between the government, the trade unions with more representativeness and General Union of Morocco’s Enterprises/CGEM, in the context of social dialogue with trade unions and the rest of interested partners.
It’s an opportunity to highly applaud the Government President, trade unions, business entrepreneurs, the Moroccan confederation for Agriculture and rural development, for their responsible and serious integration in the implementation process of royal supreme orientations, taking into account that Moroccan working class is partner in the national effort for setting up the basis of the social state, and also for the atmosphere of understanding and national responsibility which have characterized the signing of this important agreement, which has come as a crowning of a series of social dialogue sessions; the agreement expresses the government and its President true determination for social reform, done in full nationalism, entente and partnership between trade unions and economic and social partners; through everybody’ consensus on the contents which would benefit citizens, women and men alike and would serve social peace and security in our country.
I am also expressing my gratitude for the big efforts undertaken by all the parties which have been involved in both the sectorial and central social dialogue rounds; the fact which has enabled us all to reach this important social station despite several constraints and external and internal economic pressures; so congratulations to our country by this important social agreement.
