In commenting smear campaigns that have targeted PAM leaderships, MP Hicham Al Mouhajiri said that evident targeting against PAM officials in particular without referring to other political activists raises many questions about the reasons and backgrounds of that targeted campaign.
In a statement to the press, Mr. Al Mouhajiri added that those smear campaigns were not only limited to the party’s ministers but have also extended to include a number of its officials and elected bodies to distort the party’s image in front of public opinion, pointing out that PAM Politburo has recorded recurrence targeting against the party’s leaderships in an evident manner over the latest period, and therefore has brought it to raise the attention about those practices that harm noble political action.
MP Mr. Al Mouhajiri stated that “National public opinion has the right to criticize the party’s leadership and its officials should be accounted for, but to focus only on PAM ministers and their mistakes, “if found”, is illogical and irrational and so the party has the right to reject and condemn that campaign”.
PAM Politburo has previously expressed, during an ordinary meeting held last Tuesday, August 23, 2022, its strong condemnation for those targeted smear campaigns that target the party’s leadership and its officials, confirming that those campaigns will not influence the party’s militants determination to pursue its commitments for which it has won electors’ trust.
