Minister Abdellatif Miraoui holds a meeting with representatives of Moroccans student returnees from Ukraine to clarify possible solutions
Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui held last Monday August 29, 2022 at his department office in Rabat, a meeting with representatives of Moroccan student returnees from Ukraine to present and clarify some solutions being proposed by the Ministry in this regard.
Minister Miraoui, has stated “the Ministry’s full readiness in the context of the government integration to reach practical solutions and take all necessary measures to guarantee the continuation of academic process to our sons the Moroccan students who have returned from Ukraine, and also to establish a mechanism to follow up and support the academic level of accepted students (including scientific lexicon, languages, and follow up etc..)
The solutions proposed have been focused on:
1. For Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry: Organization of a written exam to have access to basic training at national private faculty of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry
- Opening the possibility to get training at national medicine institutions, for students who pursue their specialty, under the supervision of national public faculties and in coordination with concerned Ukrainian universities
- Accomplishing academic studies by distance learning with Ukrainian universities for students who desire to do that, with the possibility of getting training under the supervision of concerned public faculties
2. For other courses/disciplines
- Defining measures to get students registered in other specialties have access to national higher education institutions in coordination with other concerned ministerial sectors, on the basis of competition tests to be scheduled in September 2022.
