Minister of Justice presents at the House of Councilors details about the digital platform for judicial documents
Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, has stated that the Ministry is working on finalizing the creation of a digital platform for e-exchange with Moroccan Adouls (sharia notaries), and that this platform aims at digitizing procedures and measures of judicial documents to make it easier and to reinforce e-exchange of common data with all partners.
Minister Ouahbi said in his response to councilors during an oral question session held last Tuesday, December 3, 2023, that the platform aims at making easier for amenities to benefit from services and thus minimizing their move to courts of justice, allowing citizens to submit and request judicial documents, and also allowing Adouls to write, process and sign documents at the platform in addition to allowing documentation judges to oversee those judicial documentation at the platform.
Regarding the achievement of this project, Minister Ouahbi has outlined that beside marriage aspect, functional and development of the platform have been finalized and now it is under the process of loading data provided by the Ministry as the aspect of divorce and its measures are being finalized from technical point of view.
On the other side, and to provide all information included in the updated and old family registries, the Ministry has started to establish computer information software to manage electronically archives, which respond to international applicable standards. The best appropriate software system was chosen for archives and registration of judicial documents with photo scanning, indexing and electronic archiving to allow all interested sides to get informed and see those documents through this e-platform.
