Minister Ghita Mezzour: We have prepared a new generation of reforms about simplifying and digitization of Administration procedures

President of the Government Mr. Aziz Akhannouch called last Monday, February 20, 2023 in Rabat for the preparation of a new generation of reforms about simplifying and digitization of administrative procedures according to a defined action program.

In a statement made on the occasion of a third meeting of the national committee to simplify administrative procedures, Mr. Akhannouch has called on all interveners from public administration and institutions, territorial communes and interested bodies, to focus on preparing a new generation of reforms related to simplifying and digitization of administrative procedures that would make of digital transition and exchange of data and documents among different administrations a platform for genuine reform to meet both citizens’ and investors’ expectations and ensure efficiency and transparency.

A communiqué from the Government’s presidency has highlighted that Mr. Akhannouch has confirmed that the government is planning to afford all efforts and means to make successful this major project in our country in execution of His Majesty King Mohammed VI supreme instructions.

In this context, Minister Delegate to the Government President in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Mrs. Ghita Mezzour has made a presentation about the outcome of the bill 55-19 provisions in relation with simplifying administrative procedures.

Minister Mezzour has highlighted that so far 22 administration resolutions have been simplified and digitized via CRI invest e-platform; the fact which will reduce required documents for investors by 45%; and about 60% of required documents will be abolished regarding accepted investments projects; and 50% of required documents about real estate pot; 33% of required documents for urbanization permission and 45% of required documents for exploitation permission.

Minister Mezzour has disclosed that five simplifying procedures have been endorsed to reduce number of required documents for investors by 45%. During that meeting, interveners have stressed to develop more the national portal for administrative procedures and measures “Idarati.ma” and follow up with all simplifying measures at the practical level and present four project bills with setting end of next March as a deadline for their adoption.
