Secretary General Ouahbi confirmed, in his statement made to the conferees of PAM regional convention held last Saturday, June 3, 2023, in Marrakech, under the slogan “Dynamism and commitment with the foundation spirit”, that PAM women convention has had big regional scopes; saying “we, in this party, will defend women’s rights and all their freedoms, will ban all aspects of marginalization and will change rules, because women are our mother, our sister, our spouse, our aunts and women’s joyful ululations are the first voice we hear when we are born, expressing joy when we succeed in our studies and when we get jobs.”
“It’s out of ethics and duty to recognize women’s rights and the least we can do is to achieve equality and equity for women..” said Ouahbi
On the same occasion, Mr. Ouahbi has praised efforts undertaken by Mrs. Fatima Zahra Mansouri inside party and the Ministry of National Territory Rehabilitation, Urbanization, Housing and City Policy as well; and the big achievements she has made at the level of Marrakech as President of the city council.
Regarding debate about family status code, Mr. Ouahbi has stressed that His Majesty King Mohammed VI is the one who detains religious power and when he makes a decision, diligent judgment will be the task of ministries, institutions and NGOs to contribute to this important societal and religious subject.
