Video – President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Mr. Daki.. The committee was set up by His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s instructions to reform family code status

​In the aftermath of the tripartite meeting last Friday September 29, 2023, at the Moroccan Kingdom Academy between Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, President Delegate of the Higher Council of Judiciary Power Mr. Mohamed Abdenabaoui and President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Mr. Al Hassan Daki, to supervise over the reviewing of the Moroccan family code status, as being recommended by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Mr. Hassan Daki said “the committee was created under His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s instructions to reform the Moroccan family code status and set up its broad guidelines”.

Mr. Daki has praised the royal supreme initiative “aimed at reviewing and amending the family code status due to its uttermost importance to preserve the family entity for women as well as for children, after two decades of current family code has entered into force.”

President of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Mr. Daki underlined that supreme royal wisdom emanates from His Majesty’s conviction of the necessity to review some provisions of the family code status and improve the structures of the Moroccan family with all its components.

Mr. Daki said that “we will be listening to and be open to various social players in compliance with supreme royal instructions”.
