Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi: The government is harmonious and homogeneous and deploys big efforts to meet challenges and achieve Moroccans’ expectations

Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi stated last Sunday October 29, 2023, that the government is in full harmony, homogeneity and respect for institutions among all its components.

Minister Ouahbi has highlighted to Medi-1 TV channel program “Guest of the Week” that majority parties form an alliance that is eager to work in support of the government and its leadership in full respect for institutions.

Minister of Justice said that despite existing challenges related to last September 8 earthquake, and our country’s honor to host 2030 soccer world cup and the burden of foreign debts, the government has been capable to create a kind of balance in 2024 budget, which should ensure continuation and permanency.

Minister Ouahbi has made clear that based on royal supreme instructions, the government has provided direct subventions to persons with limited incomes; the fact which will contribute to improve citizens’ purchasing power and minimize the impact of prices spike.

“The government has made big and important efforts to ensure that balance”, said Minister Ouahbi, “and so bring Moroccans to show solidarity among each other and that the continuation of that balance means empowering financially the Moroccan state and guarantee economic and financial stability.”

The Minister added that the government is following closely the economic situation and in case lubricants prices regress worldwide and if the season will be a rainy one, Gods’ Willing, these factors will push for decreasing prices and bolter citizens’ purchasing power to overcome this crisis repercussions.

Concerning PAM internal matters, Mr. Ouahbi has highlighted that PAM is in an excellent condition, and currently preparing the fifth national convention expected to take place in February 2024.

Secretary General Mr. Ouahbi considered that the party remains a political platform for debate and expression of different opinions; however it is a constructive debate and difference that flow into the party’s continuation to carry out its various mission in its relations with institutions, political parties and all citizens.
