Minister of Culture and Communication announced tenders of specification at the beginning of next year about the new audio-visual pole

Minister of Youth Culture and Communication Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid has outlined that new tenders of specification will be announced by the beginning of the new year about the new audio-visual pole project Holding, whose achievement has reached 90%.

Minister Bensaid stated in his response to a question during the oral questions session held last Monday, December 4, 2023, that a series of meetings have been held in the presence of officials from SNRT, 2M TV Channel, Medi-1 TV channel, Medi-1 radio to prepare tenders of specification (contract documents) to enhance national productions, within the framework of cultural sovereignty.

Minister Bensaid has reaffirmed that those tenders of specification will focus on orienting programs and documentary movies which to Moroccan cultural heritage, Moroccan culture and Morocco’s rich history targeting upcoming generations; with a strong presence of national public channels in the digital media; and working on-demand streaming system/SVOD; and the return of political programs and political debates inside the public channels media pole, giving importance to English.

The Ministry, said Minister Bensaid, is working hard on elaborating this contract in close coordination with the Delegate Ministry in charge of the budget to develop the public media pole to keep it abreast with the 2nd Channel in particular.
