Bensaid: Current government is managing crises faced by Morocco similar to rest of world countries and with unitary spirit
Member of the PAM Secretariat General collegial leadership, Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid has pointed out to current government’s achievements made in different sectors despite challenges our country is facing such as drought, the Ukraine-Russia war and the last September 8, 2023 earthquake, reaffirming that the government is managing those crises with rationalization, unitary spirit and full harmony.
Mr. Bensaid, who was the guest to Al Aoula Radio program “dot, back to line” broadcast last Tuesday, February 20, 2024, has confirmed that the government has made big steps in implementing its commitments regarding the institutionalization of the social state, through the process of building a new social state, which helps protect social and economic balances and also in implementing His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s instructions, praising at the same time PAM ministers’ outcome and actions.
Member of the collegial leadership has also seized the opportunity to talk about employment issue, considering that this issue remains on top of Moroccans’ expectations; reaffirming that PAM will pursue its action and efforts from its position inside the government majority to find efficient and innovated solutions to handle this file. Mr. Bensaid has stressed that unemployment remains one the fundamental challenges for this government, which is making tremendous efforts to deal with this phenomenon.
Mr. Bensaid has stated that “those government’s efforts have come in hard world and national circumstances, characterized by successive shocks witnessed by Moroccan economy in the last few years as a result of Covid-19 pandemic repercussions, the Ukraine-Russia war and the severe drought, which make the task of fighting unemployment more difficult.”
