Minister Leila Benali sends a message to the international community prior to the sixth session of the UN Environment Assembly presided by the Moroccan Kingdom

​Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Leila Benali has sent a message to the international community, few days prior to the holding of the sixth session of the UN Environment assembly, under the Moroccan Kingdom’s presidency, between February 26 and March 1, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Minister Benali has stated in her message to the international community that “the ceiling of expectations is very high, and so we should make sure that our ambitions should be proportional to our peoples’ high expectations.”

Minister Benali added that “History has clearly demonstrated that humanity can achieve its goals when we work together with credibility, so let’s seize this opportunity to make qualitative changes for the sake of individuals, our planet and humanity.”
