As part of his regular field visits, Mohamed Ibrahimi, President of the Berkane Municipal Council, led an inspection tour on Saturday, November 23, 2024, to review a number of ongoing projects under the city’s urban renewal program.
He was accompanied on this tour by officials from the Berkane region, representatives of foreign interests, and the heads of the relevant departments.
The tour included an inspection of construction work on Al-Ahram Street and Madarat Al-Nakhil, as well as a review of urban renewal projects in several of the city’s streets and neighborhoods. The tour also included a visit to the construction site of the bridge that will connect the Wartas and Sidi Suleiman Sharaa neighborhoods, as well as a visit to Ibn Hani al-Andalusi School, which will undergo infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing the quality of education.
The relevant authorities provided detailed explanations regarding the progress of the work and its adherence to the established schedule.
The Urban Renewal Program aims to improve the city’s infrastructure by upgrading streets, expanding green spaces, and modernizing public facilities, thereby enhancing the quality of life for residents.
These site visits underscore the commitment of both the regional governor and the mayor of Berkane to ensuring that projects are carried out to the highest standards, in pursuit of a comprehensive development vision that meets the aspirations of Berkane’s residents.
