إطلاق مجموعة “أصدقاء ضد العنف اتجاه النساء” بين المغرب والاتحاد الأوروبي

أطلق السفير عمر هلال، الممثل الدائم للمغرب لدى الأمم المتحدة، ونظيره من الاتحاد الأوروبي ، بتعاون مع سفراء الأرجنتين ومنغوليا ونيوزيلندا وتركيا وناميبيا ،”مجموعة أصدقاء من أجل القضاء على العنف ضد النساء والفتيات”، كتعبير عن التضامن الدولي والالتزام بحماية وتعزيز الحقوق الإنسانية للنساء والفتيات في جميع مناطق العالم.

أعرب عمر هلال في كلمة له خلال حفل إطلاق هذه المجموعة الذي حضرته نائبة الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة ، أمينة محمد ، إحدى الداعمين الرئيسيين لهذه المبادرة ، وأكثر من 200 من ممثلي الدول الأعضاء بمنظمة الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني ، الذين يتقاسمون طموح القضاء على العنف ضد النساء والفتيات في كل مكان بالعالم، (أعرب) عن شكره لـ 81 سفيرا يمثلون مناطق العالم الخمس الذين انضموا إلى مجموعة الأصدقاء عند إطلاقها.

وأكد هلال أن هذه المنصة الجديدة ستكون مفتوحة لجميع الدول التي تتقاسم قيمها وأهدافها الأساسية وستوفر منتدى لجمع الخبرات وتحسين التنسيق والدعوة والعمل داخل منظومة الأمم المتحدة.
