Mohamed Akliouine, President of the Al-Fida District Council in Casablanca, chaired a meeting of the Executive Committee on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to discuss the issue of support for cultural and sports associations for the year 2026.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Al-Sadiki Al-Tadli, First Vice President; Mr. Khaled Bahmout, Third Vice President; Mr. Essam Zaradi, Provincial Advisor and Chair of the Committee on Social, Cultural, and Sports Affairs; and Mr. Al-Arabi Hamouch, Council Secretary and member of the same committee, along with the heads of the relevant departments and offices.
This meeting is part of the Al-Fida District Council’s commitment to fulfilling its mandate and supporting the vibrant community fabric by promoting cultural and athletic activities within the district, in line with the Casablanca Municipality’s overall strategy to encourage meaningful activities and strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders.
During the meeting, the applications submitted for funding were discussed and reviewed in accordance with the approved guidelines and criteria, ensuring the principles of equal opportunity and procedural transparency, while giving priority to active associations that contribute to the advancement of the cultural and sports sectors and the achievement of sustainable local development.
The meeting was marked by a positive atmosphere characterized by responsible discussion and a spirit of consensus and openness, with Akliouen and the members of the executive committee emphasizing their shared commitment to supporting serious associations and encouraging civic initiatives that serve the public good and enhance the region’s reputation.
This meeting marks the culmination of the approach taken by the Al-Fidaa District to support community-based initiatives as a key driver of local development and to promote the values of participation and active citizenship in the service of the community.
