As part of the implementation of the objectives and themes of the “Open Doors” events organized by the local secretariats of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in Tangier, and under the supervision of the party’s Tangier-Asilah regional secretariat, a networking event was held today, Friday, December 6, at the party’s regional headquarters in Tangier, under the slogan: “Toward the Rationalization of Local Public Administration.” The event was chaired by Mohamed Saïd Ahrach, President of the Suani Provincial Council, and Mohamed Al-Hariqi, First Vice President of the Beni Makada Provincial Council, and was moderated by Nasrou Al-Abdlaoui, a member of the regional secretariat.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the moderator to highlight a number of achievements in the two districts during the current term of office, as well as the constraints that hinder the districts’ work and limit their authority.
The meeting also served as an opportunity to strengthen ties between activists and party officials responsible for managing public affairs, with the aim of addressing a range of issues—whether related to self-organization or the day-to-day management of elected bodies.
In addition, the meeting was attended by a large number of activists from the Suani and Beni Makada districts, who responded very positively to the remarks made by the meeting’s speakers—a response that reflected their interest in local issues and their ongoing engagement with the work of PAM elected officials.
