In preparation for the regional general assembly of the Women’s Organization of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) for the Fez-Meknes region, scheduled to take place on June 8, 2024, in the city of Fez, the Regional Secretariat of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) for the Moulay Yacoub region held a preparatory meeting on Wednesday, May 29, at the party’s regional headquarters in the commune of Aïn Chaf, under the supervision of the party’s regional secretary, Abdallah Mounir.
The meeting was attended by Mariam Hanini, a member of the party’s National Council and chair of the Media and Communications Committee of the Preparatory Committee; members of the regional and local secretariats; elected officials from local councils in the region; women’s activists from Amia; as well as National Council members Mounir Bencheikh and Mohamed El-Bakouch.
This organizational meeting was held to discuss and review the reports of the preparatory committee for the organization’s regional general assembly.
In this context, Mariam Hanini, a member of the preparatory committee, praised the positive atmosphere of the meeting, which was chaired by the party’s regional secretary and resulted in the formation of the preparatory committee for the regional general assembly of the Authenticity and Modernity Women’s Organization in the Fez-Meknes region.
The same spokesperson also outlined to the attendees the key outcomes of the preparatory committee meeting, which was held last Monday evening, noting the positive atmosphere that characterized the meeting.
Following an in-depth discussion, the PAM women of the Moulay Yacoub region expressed their serious and committed commitment to ensuring the success of this important organizational milestone at the regional level, with the aim of building a strong women’s organization that meets the expectations of PAM women and women in the region in general, and of advancing their social, political, and human rights conditions. All arrangements were also discussed to ensure a strong turnout of activists from the Moulay Yacoub region at the regional general assembly.
